About VAMPIRESA's Creators
Germaine Shames, a Dramatists Guild Foundation Fellow, Kilroys List playwright, and winner of her state's Literary Fellowship in Fiction, brings a lifelong love of story to Vampiresa. As a librettist-lyricist, she works globally with award-winning composers in musical theatre, opera, choral and popular music. Shames' works have been selected for such events as NJ Theatre Alliance Stages Festival, Festival of New American Theatre, and Musicals NOW and earned productions in New York City, L.A., Chicago, London and Minneapolis.
Noah Potter, the son of prominent anthropologists who exposed him to cultures around the world, brings a unique perspective to his music that encompasses living in the regions of the Ming Dynasty to studying with a collaborator of Robert Moog in the development of the Moog Synthesizer. Potter graduated in Music Composition from the University of Chicago. His music has been widely featured in film and television, including the Indie Award winner Boxing Day, and the Cannes-premiered 5 Souls and Nomads.

And women who kiss like it's war
But I, when I kiss, never once miss
The jugular of my paramour..."
