Germaine Shames, a Dramatists Guild Foundation 

Fellow and winner of her state's Literary Fellowship

in Fiction, brings a lifelong love of story to mu-

sical theatre. A Kilroys List playwright, Shames

majored in Theatre as an under-graduate. For

the past five years, she has celebrated premieres

in New York City, LA, London, Chicago and Minneapolis.

 

Recently, her dramedy, Year of Thirteen Moons, won ThinkTank's inaugural Playwrights Festival, and her adaptation, The Lost Girl, Starlight Theater’s Playwriting Award. Her new musicals, If the Spirit Moves and The Manifesto, premiered at Theatre Elision in 2019 and 2020 respectively​. Her bio-drama, The Higher Love, winner of four workshop competitions, will be revived at Transformation Theatre as part of their 2022 season.

 

As a librettist and lyricist, Shames collaborates with world-class composers in musical theatre, opera, choral and popular music. Her opera, The Bird Lady, premiered at the National Opera Center in 2021. It's all about love

Daniel Lincoln, a graduate of UCLA (BA, Music: Vocal Performance and Music Composition) and NYU (MFA, Musical Theatre Writing), composes for both theater and film. In 2018, the movie musical short Plus One, featuring Daniel's music and lyrics, won "Best Musical" at multiple film festivals around America, including the Manhattan Film Festival. Original musicals include Wrong Could Be Right (Facade Productions, London UK), Calixte (Festival South, MS), and Queen Bea: A Soapsical! (3 Rules Productions, NY) which originally starred the cast of ABC’s daytime drama One Life to Live. 

 

Daniel has taught at NYU Tisch (Playwrights Horizons Studio and The New Studio on Broadway), New York Film Academy’s Musical Theatre Conservatory, and worked for Broadway casting agencies such as Telsey + Company.

Krista Pojman has recently graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City for music composition and music therapy. She has composed the music for four productions, receiving performances at the Coterie, The Living Room Theater, KC Lyric Opera, and Resonation – Miami, and wrote the official song for the Navy’s newest ship, the USS Kansas City.

                             Krista. a former music therapy intern at                                            Bridgeway Academy school for autism, teaches                               at Fugees Family. She has music directed for                                   several children’s productions  including “Beauty                              and the Beast Jr.”, "Alice in Wonderland Jr." and                              “The Little Mermaid Jr.”, as well as been a music instructor at CATCO is Kids camps, Helen Hocker Theater Camp, and Berkely Preschool. She is ecstatic to work on Virginity with such an amazing creative team!
